Farmers Employees Donate to Grove City Salvation Army...


Salvation Army   Community Jeans resized 600The employees of The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton recently donated $400 to the Salvation Army Service Unit in Grove City, Pennsylvania.  Employees of the Bank raised money for this donation through their Community Jeans Day program. 

The Salvation Army Service Unit provides financially struggling individuals and families with necessities such as food, clothing, shelter and more in the local community. Currently, the Salvation Army is promoting its Red Kettle campaign which helps raise money during the holiday season to provide toys for kids, coats for the homeless, food for the hungry and social service programs year-round.  For information on how to donate or become a volunteer, please call 724.992.3099 or email dmurray@farmersnb.com.

Accepting the donation on behalf of the Grove City Salvation Army was Pastor Pam Schnelzer. Representing the Farmers National Bank of Emlenton was Darian Murray, Branch Manager of the Grove City office and Volunteer Coordinator of the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign.

Community Jeans Day is an employee program that spans bank-wide and benefits local organizations within the Bank footprint. Employees of the Bank are encouraged to donate each month and in return, are permitted to wear jeans on Fridays. All money raised goes back into the community through gifting to local, non-profit organizations.


Farmers Hosts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Clarion Office...


FNBE_ClarionThe Farmers National Bank of Emlenton recently hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony and customer appreciation day in recognition of the grand re-opening of its Clarion Office.  The local office underwent an interior and exterior renovation during the past five months.  Updates to the facility include additional parking, expanded drive through lanes, interior updates and outdoor green space.

The Clarion office, originally opened in 1985, was the institution’s third banking office and first in Clarion County. The ribbon cutting ceremony was held at 9:30 a.m. hosted by representatives from the Bank’s board, executive team and staff in addition to local dignitaries and community members.  Following the ribbon cutting ceremony was a customer appreciation day including a luncheon and drawings for those in attendance.

The banking office is located at 21 South 6th Avenue in Clarion.  The office is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. with the drive thru operating one half hour before opening and after closing during the weekdays.


Farmers Donates $15,000 to Butler County Community College...


Farmers Bank and BC3The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton recently donated $15,000 to the Butler County Community College (BC3) Education Foundation as part of the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program.

The Foundation’s mission is to enhance the student experience at the college by linking community, students, alumni, businesses and organizations to an environment surrounded by innovation, creativity and accomplishment.

Accepting the donation on behalf of BC3 was Dr. Nicholas Neupauer, President, and Ruth Purcell, Executive Director of the Foundation.  Representing The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton was Renee Foust, Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager of the Cranberry Township Office.

Farmers Donates $7,500 to Keystone Education Foundation...


The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton recently donated $7,500 to Keystone School District Education Foundation as part of the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program.Keystone School District

The money will be used to fund academic and technological enhancements throughout the Keystone School District and reward students and teachers for achievement and excellence.

Milissa Bauer has served as Executive Vice President of the Kriebel Companies since August 2008. Kriebel is a family owned business located in Clarion, Pennsylvania involved in the development of shallow conventional natural gas reserves. Ms. Bauer has been with Kriebel since 1990. She currently manages day-to-day relationships with Kriebel’s partners and many of the day to day operations at Kriebel.  Her responsibilities include partner relations, financial and tax-related information and filings, marketing and delivering of natural gas to end users and special projects.  Active in child-advocacy organizations, she is a founding member and co-chairperson of the Children’s Scholarship Fund of Pennsylvania.  Milissa is a member of the Pennsylvania Independent Oil and Gas Association, the Treasurer of the Pennsylvania Independent Oil & Gas Association, and a Trustee for Clarion University of Pennsylvania, where she holds the office of Secretary.   She is also a board member of the Clarion County YMCA.  

Robert W. Freeman is a partner in Beaconfield Consulting Group LLC, a management consulting firm located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania that provides governance, project management, process improvement and leadership consulting services to various industries, including Fortune 500 companies.  Mr. Freeman has a broad financial management and information technology background.  Previously, he served as Vice President of IT at Phillips Pet Food Supplies in Easton, Pennsylvania and prior to that as Chief Financial Officer of Iron Mountains, LLC in Morgantown, Pennsylvania.  Mr. Freemen held senior management and analyst positions with IBM Global Services and Hershey Foods Corporation before joining Iron Mountains, LLC.

Officers Receive State Certification...


The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton is pleased to announce that Jerry Millin, Vice President and Information Technology Manager, and Andrew Hogue, Assistant Vice President - Facilities and Security Manager, obtained their Certified Community Bank Security Professional Certification (CCBSP) through the Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers (PACB).

The PACB offers the CCBSP Certification program to ensure financial institutions are prepared and educated on how to actively respond to internet crime and threats.  To successfully complete this certification, Millin and Hogue had to complete a series of events and pass the final CCBSP examination.

Farmers Employees donate to Brookville Volunteer Fire Company...


The employees of The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton recently donated $435 to the Brookville Volunteer Fire Company (BVFC). Employees of the Bank raised money for this donation through their Community Jeans Day program.

Accepting the donation on behalf of the BVFC was Fire Chief Jim Lipuma and members Dick Booser, Tracy Zents, Valerie Zents and Katie Zents.  Representing The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton was Stephanie Burford, Branch Manager of the Brookville Office and Cheri Wonderling, Head Teller of the Brookville Office.

Brookville VFD Donations resized 600The BVFC is dispatched throughout Jefferson County from the location of the firehouse at 240 Madison Avenue Brookville Borough.  The BVFC is the only fire station in the borough of Brookville and has sole responsibility of providing fire protection to its 4,600 residents.  Additionally, the BVFD hosts community events throughout the year such as Community Days, Easter Egg Hunt, Haunted Hay Ride and more.

Hilfiger joins Farmers as Branch Manager...


The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton announced that Kyle A. Hilfiger has been named Branch Manager of the Bon Aire and Meridian offices in Butler, Pennsylvania.

In this position, Mr. Hilfiger will be responsible for managing theHilfiger_Farmers National Bank daily operations of the full-service banking offices, developing and expanding customer relationships and overseeing the delivery of high quality service.  Prior to joining Farmers National Bank, Hilfiger has seven years of experience managing a large retail store.  Hilfiger earned a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration degree from Pennsylvania State University.

Mr. Hilfiger resides in Butler County, Pennsylvania with his family.
