Farmers Donates to Allegheny Riverstone Center for the Arts...


The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton recently donated $750 to Allegheny Riverstone Center for the Arts (ARCA) in support of their annual giving campaign.

This donation will be dedicated to the annual series of classical, jazz and educational concerts and events that ARCA brings to the area for the public to enjoy.

Accepting the donation on behalf of ARCA was John Soroka, Executive Director. Representing The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton were William C. Marsh, Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer, and Cindy Elder, Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager of the Emlenton Office.

Farmers Donates $500 to Lifesteps...


Farmers Bank and Lifesteps 2015The employees of The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton recently donated $500 to Lifesteps. Employees of the Bank raised money for this donation through their Community Jeans Day program.

Accepting the donation on behalf of Lifesteps was Karen Sue Owens, President and Chief Executive Officer.  Representing the Farmers National Bank of Emlenton were Kyle Hilfiger, Branch Manager of the Bon Aire and Meridian Offices and  Caroline Montani, Teller at the Meridian Office.

Community Jeans Day is an employee program that spans bank-wide and benefits local organizations within the Bank footprint. Employees of the Bank are encouraged to donate each month and in return, are permitted to wear jeans on Fridays. All money raised goes back into the community through gifting to local, non-profit organizations. 

Lifesteps, a local non-profit agency, offers family-focused services in a caring, nurturing environment to western Pennsylvania communities. Services include FREE child developmental/Autism screenings for children, developmental preschool, integrated child care for children of ALL abilities, a medically-monitored day program for older adults and programs and services for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities including Adult Training Facilities, Residential Living and Life Sharing. The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton recently donated $250 to the Butler County 4-H in support of their annual Farm Show Scholarship.  

The Butler County 4-H is an organization which promotes leadership, citizenship and life skills through community projects, school-based programs and local clubs.  The annual scholarship is gifted to a member of the 4-H who is furthering his/her education.

Farmers Announces $50,000 Gift to Clarion County YMCA...

The Board of Directors of The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton recently elected to pledge a $50,000 gift to support the Clarion County YMCA’s capital campaign.  These funds will be used to assist in the construction of the new full-service facility located in Clarion, PA.

“The Board of Directors and I are impressed by the abundance of services slated to be provided by the Clarion County YMCA and the number of lives that this facility will touch, many of whom are employees and customers of our Bank.  We strongly believe in positively impacting our local communities, investing in neighboring areas and being a part of enhancements which provide tangible social and health benefits.” said William C. Marsh, Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton.

Accepting the donation on behalf of the Clarion County YMCA was Milissa Bauer, Campaign Cabinet Co-Chair.  Representing the Farmers National Bank of Emlenton were Mr. Marsh, Board of Directors member Jim Crooks and Jennifer Roxbury, Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer.

The $8.1 million full-service Clarion County YMCA will be located near Exit 62 of I-80 and the Clarion Oaks Golf Course.  The campaign’s silent phase raised over $5.4 million (almost 70 percent) from lead gifts and commitments by a small group of key individuals, including more than $600,000 in pledges from the local YMCA Board. 

"The campaign for the remaining $2.7 million launched a little over one month ago has now raised nearly $800,000, mostly from local community businesses who have made substantial donations, similar to Farmers National Bank of Emlenton, to express their gratitude to their customers and employees,” said Bauer. 

The project is now almost 80 percent funded towards its goal.  The new building, among other facilities, will bring access to a lane lap swimming/therapy pool and other year-round recreation activities.  The YMCA is a not-for-profit 501(c) 3 entity.   The plan is to complete the project by late 2016.

Rattay Promoted to Assistant Vice President at Farmers...

In this position, Ms. Rattay will be managing product promotions, public relations, special events, advertising and marketing analytics for the Bank.  Ms. Rattay joined the Bank in 2013 as the Marketing Coordinator. She has been instrumental in leading successful marketing campaigns, enhancing the overall corporate brand image and developing specialized growth tactics for the Bank.

Ms. Rattay received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Thiel College, Greenville, PA.  Rattay resides in Clarion County, Pennsylvania.

“We understand the importance of high-quality, local healthcare.  Our donation will make a positive impact in the lives of many for years to come,” said Robert Vernick, Senior Vice President, Chief Lending and Business Development Officer of The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton.

Passavant Hospital Foundation was incorporated as a 501(c)3 nonprofit foundation in 1981. The St. Barnabas Charities fund has provided more than $100 million in charity health care and residential services to generations of elderly and physically challenged men and women for more than a century.  The Free Care Fund provides more than $6 million in free care annually to needy patients at St. Barnabas.


Hilinski Joins Farmers as Branch Manager...


The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton announced that Kelli J. Farmers National Bank Kelli HilinskiHilinski has been named Branch Manager of the Knox Office in Knox, Pennsylvania.

In this position, Mrs. Hilinski will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the full-service banking office, developing and expanding customer relationships and overseeing the delivery of high quality service.  Prior to being appointed as Branch Manager, Hilinski served as the Customer Service Representative for two years at the Bank’s Clarion Office.  Hilinski has over seven years experience in sales, management and education. Mrs. Hilinski earned a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters Degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Hilinski resides in Clarion County, Pennsylvania with her family.
