Farmers Donates $144,000 to Educational Organizations...

Emlenton, Pennsylvania, March 23, 2018The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton recently donated $144,000 to local educational organizations, through the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program.

The EITC program provides tax credits for eligible businesses to contribute to educational improvement organizations and/or pre-kindergarten scholarship organizations.  Since 2002, Farmers has donated more than $1.5 million through this program.

For the 2017-2018 academic year, Farmers donated to the following organizations: Moraine Trails Boy Scouts of America, Brockway Center for Arts and Technology, Brockway Schools and Community Education Foundation, Brookville Area Raider Scholastic Foundation, BC3 Education Foundation, Clarion Limestone Area Scholastic Foundation, Inc., Clarion University Foundation, DuBois Area Schools, Elk County Community Foundation, Christian Life Academy, Karns City Scholastic Foundation, Keystone Elk County Alliance, Keystone School District Education Foundation, Keystone SMILES, Neighborhood Housing Services, Inc., Penn State University Philanthropic Fund, Scholastic Opportunity Scholarship Fund, Seneca Valley Foundation, STAR Foundation, The Neighborhood Academy and the Union Enhancement Foundation.
