The employees of The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton recently donated $495 to The Arc of Jefferson and Clearfield Counties. Employees of the Bank raised money for this donation through their Community Jeans Day program.
The Arc, established in 1966, is a volunteer based, non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of individuals with intellectual and development disorders. Accepting the donation on behalf of The Arc was Michelle Battaglia, Arc Adult Program Services Director of the Recreation and Respite Club. Representing the Farmers National Bank of Emlenton was Kelli Allison, Branch Manager of the DuBois office and Danyell Bundy, Vice President and Director of Branch Banking.
Community Jeans Day is an employee program that spans bank-wide and benefits local organizations within the Bank footprint. Employees of the Bank are encouraged to donate each month and in return, are permitted to wear jeans on Fridays. All money raised goes back into the community through gifting to local, non-profit organizations.
