On September 8, 2014, The Home Depot confirmed that their payment systems were breached during the time frame of April through September 2014. As a result, unauthorized people may be able to obtain card information of those consumers who completed transactions at The Home Depot stores during those months.
It has been reported that some consumers who were affected by the breach experienced spam emails phishing for personal financial data in addition to the changing of PIN numbers on cards. Please be aware that The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton will never request personal information such as account and PIN numbers over the phone or through email. For your security, do not provide this information at any point.
