The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton recently donated $6,515 to the United Way of Venango County in support of their annual fundraising campaign for 2015.
“We are happy to continue to support the United Way through financial contributions and volunteer efforts. The Bank’s contributions are gifted to the general impact fund so that the leadership of the United Way can direct funds to programs that make a significant impact in the community,” said William C. Marsh, Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton.
Annually, the employees of The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton have the opportunity to contribute toward the campaign through payroll deduction. Since the start of the program in 2010, employees have contributed over $21,000 to the United Way. These employee elections have been distributed to the local United Way offices in the following areas: Butler, Venango, Clarion, Grove City, DuBois, Titusville, St. Marys and Brookville. The Bank’s pledge to match all employee donations is directed to the United Way of Venango County, home of the Bank’s headquarters.
Accepting the donation on behalf of the United Way of Venango County was Jane Klinger, Executive Director. Representing The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton were Shelly Hartle, Branch Manager of the Seneca office and Rick Grejda, Assistant Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer.
