The employees of The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton recently donated $500 to Lifesteps. Employees of the Bank raised money for this donation through their Community Jeans Day program.
Accepting the donation on behalf of Lifesteps was Karen Sue Owens, President and Chief Executive Officer. Representing the Farmers National Bank of Emlenton were Kyle Hilfiger, Branch Manager of the Bon Aire and Meridian Offices and Caroline Montani, Teller at the Meridian Office.
Community Jeans Day is an employee program that spans bank-wide and benefits local organizations within the Bank footprint. Employees of the Bank are encouraged to donate each month and in return, are permitted to wear jeans on Fridays. All money raised goes back into the community through gifting to local, non-profit organizations.
Lifesteps, a local non-profit agency, offers family-focused services in a caring, nurturing environment to western Pennsylvania communities. Services include FREE child developmental/Autism screenings for children, developmental preschool, integrated child care for children of ALL abilities, a medically-monitored day program for older adults and programs and services for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities including Adult Training Facilities, Residential Living and Life Sharing.
