The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton (the Bank) announced that Robert A. “Bob” Vernick has joined the Bank as Senior Vice President – Chief Lending and Business Development Officer.
In this position, Mr. Vernick will be responsible for commercial business development and strategically managing the Bank’s corporate banking group. Mr. Vernick brings a wide range of community banking and corporate financial services experience having most recently served as Vice President, Sales and Treasury Manager with Dollar Bank in Pittsburgh and Cleveland. With nearly 25 years of banking experience, Mr. Vernick has strong leadership, commercial lending, treasury management and business development skills.
In connection with the hiring of Mr. Vernick, Raymond M. Lawton, the Bank’s long-standing Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer, will remain a Senior Vice President and become the Bank’s Chief Credit Officer. In this role, Mr. Lawton will continue his focus on risk management, bank-wide loan underwriting and maintaining sound asset quality systems.

Mr. Vernick resides in Butler, Pennsylvania with his wife and two sons.
