Emlenton, Pennsylvania, February 12, 2018 – The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton recently donated $8,582 to the United Way of Venango County in support of their annual fundraising campaign for 2018.
Accepting the donation on behalf of the United Way of Venango County was Will Price, Executive Director. Representing Farmers National Bank was Brittany Basham, Assistant Vice President, Manager of Human Resources and Organizational Development
“We are always seeking ways to positively impact our communities and look forward to continuing that focus for years to come. Having led the annual United Way campaign for many years, I was ecstatic that our employees had pledged to donate exponentially beyond their previous year pledge. We continuously strive to raise additional funds to make an even larger impact in the years to come,” said Ms. Basham.
Since the start of the program in 2010, employees have contributed over $40,000 to the United Way. Annually, the employees of Farmers National Bank have the opportunity to contribute toward the campaign through payroll deduction. These employee elections have been distributed to the local United Way offices in the following areas: Butler, Venango, Clarion, Grove City, DuBois, Titusville, St. Marys and Brookville. The Bank’s pledge to match all employee donations is directed to the United Way of Venango County, home of the Bank’s headquarters.
