Emlenton, Pennsylvania, January 29, 2019 – The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton recently donated $8,976 to the United Way of Venango County in support of their annual fundraising campaign for 2019.
Accepting the donation on behalf of the United Way of Venango County was Will Price, Executive Director. Representing Farmers National Bank was Brittany Kerchersky, Assistant Vice President, Manager of Human Resources and Organizational Development.
“On behalf of the Bank, I am pleased to share that contributions made by our employees for the 2019 campaign have once again increased, compared to prior years. The annual United Way Campaign provides our employees with an opportunity to invest in the communities in which they work and live. These pledges are a testament to the caring employees who are dedicated to improving the lives of others,” said Ms. Kerchersky.
Since the start of the program in 2010, employees have contributed over $49,000 to the United Way. Annually, the employees of Farmers National Bank may contribute toward the campaign through payroll deduction. These employee elections have been distributed to the local United Way offices in the following areas: Butler, Venango, Clarion, Grove City, DuBois, Titusville, St. Marys, Brookville, Allegheny County, Ridgway Area and Chester, WV. The Bank’s pledge to match all employee donations is directed to the United Way of Venango County, home of the Bank’s headquarters.
