Emlenton, Pennsylvania, April 19, 2018 – The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton has recently increased the minimum hourly wage it pays employees to $11.25 per hour, effective April 1, 2018. This new hourly wage rate represents an increase of more than 7% over the Bank’s current internal minimum wage and is approximately 55% higher than the federal minimum wage rate of $7.25 per hour as mandated by the United States Department of Labor. Additionally, all hourly employees received a 7% increase to their current hourly wage rate.“Our goal is to remain an employer of choice in our markets and a competitive wage and rich compensation package is a key part of what we offer to potential and current employees.
